Bernadine is an Aboriginal woman from Santa Teresa, Northern Territory. Bernadine is from the Arrernte Group and speaks the Arrerente language. Bernadine spent her childhood years at the mission of Santa Teresa and moved to Adelaide with her partner Stephen. She was introduced to Indigenu by Christine Brown also from the same area, they have both become friends of Indigenu. She is partnered with Stephen Pitjara Petyarre Martin and is a mother of two gorgeous little cherubs. As a couple they spend time developing their art and producing inspirational works, all based on traditional themes.
