Indigenu Review

I recently googled Indigenu to see what type of things would come up and to my surprise someone had written a review of my business. The reviewer was very kind. I have quoted it below for your interest. We at Indigenu hope you have a wonderful experience with your purchase and enjoy the works each day of your life. To some I warn that collecting Aboriginal Art is an addictive endeavor. A very special mention of all those who keep the wheels moving at Indigenu. To Louisa from Indigenu, Victoria , Alexi Alexi who stretches and frames all our Adelaide  works, Teresa Brown who assists and of course Matthew Aldous, Curator and web designer.

Indigenu is a small privately-owned art gallery specialising in aboriginal art.

I admit I'm not a big fan of art galleries. Art itself is fine and I enjoy collecting good pieces I like (and can afford). But, art galleries tend to attract a certain pretentiousness which, for me is a big turnoff. I don't find this attitude at Indigenu, though. Tony (the owner) is helpful and very friendly. He obviously enjoys what he does and loves sharing his joy with the people who visit his gallery. He also has a good eye for talent and provides an avenue for talented emerging artists.

As I haven't visited many other aboriginal art galleries against which I can compare, I initially only gave Indigenu 4 stars. However, as Tony purchases his stock at a fair price and doesn't add on massive markups to the resale value (unlike some other galleries, especially overseas), I think that easily deserves a fifth star.
