Indigenu had its Victorian launch on 27/11/11. The day can be regarded successful as the response of the guests was very favourable in so many ways. There was regard for Louisa who hosted the event with aplomb and demonstrated how a successful event can be held. Congratulations Louisa for a good well done.
Of course the event could not have happened without the wonderful work generated by Indigenu artists. The guests were very impressed with the range and standard of work available on the day, so thank you for all your work. Bernadine Johnson, Quentin Granites and Audrey Brumby's Bush Medicine Leaves were all a smash on the day not to mention the amazing work of 14 year old Erica from Yuendamu.
I know Louisa was very pleased with the visit by so many warm and enthusiatic friends, family and fellow art lovers so a huge thankyou goes out to you all and very glad you found it to be a fine event. We look forward to hosting many more as the momentum gathers and hope you will be their too.
And to all the behind the scenes people that prepared food, cleaned up, set up, minded children. The success of the day would not have been possible without you.
